Endowment Fund
BGC South East is dedicated to building self-esteem in children in an environment that is safe and supportive. Providing recreation and educational opportunities, the Club is a place of fun and friendship, laughter and learning for all of Kingston’s kids.
The endowment fund was established in 1999 to ensure the Club always fulfills its mandate to welcome all children to participate in different activities, regardless of their means. BGC runs many Programs such as the Youth-Run Catering Initiative which helps at-risk youth develop food preparation skills, learn about managing a small-scale, “business” and gain employability skills, practical skills and experience starting a business.
Funding has also been used to establish a bus route to pick up children from a host of elementary schools to attend our After School Programs at our 11 different locations.
